Why we created Fiber Ink Studio
After years of mediocre service at commercial labs and unrealized shows due to the excessive prices for prints, we decided to open Fiber Ink Studio. Fiber Ink Studio is the creation of two photographers with a combined printing experience of twenty years. This experience including all levels of photo, leading several workshops on color management and digital printing ensures you receive the best quality. The range of our knowledge covers the gamut from traditional darkroom to large format high end museum grade archival printing. We met while attending graduate school at Maryland Institute College of Art. Andrew is a photographer and media artist and Lesly is a photographer and photo educator with technician experience in art conservation. We are committed to sharing our expert knowledge while providing color accuracy, a fast turn around and a collaborative environment that welcomes creativity rather than frustration.
